• Residency Documentation:
  • Proof of Residency: A current (within 30 days) light, water, or gas utility bill. The name on the utility bill must be of students’ parents. If parent does not have a utility bill due to the purchase of a new home, parent must bring home owners contract.
  • Renting: Lease agreement, rental contract, or family affidavit stamped by apartment complex.- This documentation will NOT require a Notarized Letter.
  • Renting: Two or more families, must bring letter from landlord approving the additional families to the residence.
  • Lives with relatives that own home in VV ISD: Owner needs to be present with proof of residency and must sign off on the Valley View ISD -Notarized Letter Form along with parent signature.
  • Parents that are registering a student with a Power of Attorney: Must be a Valley View ISD – Power Of Attorney Form.

• Required Student Records for Registration
  • Students Birth Certificate
  • Students Current Immunization Record
  • Students Social Security Card, if applicable
  • Proof of Identification of Parent
  • Pre-kindergarten registration – Must provide proof of income

• Secondary 6th - 12th
  • Students recent report card/withdrawal form – for placement purposes
  • Language Assessment Scores & Language Survey from Previous School (6th – 12th grade only) or TAKS information
  • Attendance/Discipline Record
